Burlington OPP are investigating a tragic three-vehicle collision that took place on the eastbound QEW near Walkers Line over the Labour Day long weekend.
On Sunday, August 31st, emergency crews were called to the scene at around 6:45 p.m., where a 40-year-old man from Toronto was found critically injured. He was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the man may have suffered a medical emergency that led to the crash. The occupants of the other two vehicles were not hurt and remained on scene to assist police.
The QEW and nearby ramps were closed for roughly two hours as crews completed their investigation and cleared the roadway.
