A Burlington man is the latest local lottery winner!
Ralph Rutigliano is $100,000 richer after winning with Instant Extreme (Game #2209).
The retiree has been playing the lottery for over 30 years, though this isn’t his first big win! While picking up his latest cheque at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto, he shared that back in 2018, another ticket brought him a $100,000 win.
Now, Rutigliano is delighted to share the story of his second major win.
“I was at the store when I scanned this ticket and discovered I’d won. I may have screamed a little,” he admitted with a chuckle. “My emotions were high, and I was just thrilled!”
He called his best friend to share the wonderful news, and the message chain went from there.
With his winnings, Ralph intends to save for the future and invest. He also has one additional plan in mind: “I can’t wait to buy my next lottery ticket!”
The winning ticket was purchased at Mt. Royal Smoke Shop on Mount Forest Drive in Burlington.
