One person is dead following a motorcycle collision in Burlington.
On Monday, August 25th, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to a collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Kerns Road and Dundas Street in Burlington. The collision occurred roughly 8:50 p.m.
The initial investigation indicated that an eastbound Honda motorcycle, driven by a 19-year-old man from Waterdown, collided with a westbound Ford SUV, driven by a 56-year-old man from Milton. The SUV was attempting to turn left onto Kerns Road when the collision occurred. Two other vehicles were damaged at the intersection by the collision between the motorcycle and SUV. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. No other drivers required medical attention.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation.
