The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has confirmed the death of the 67-year-old cyclist.
The investigation remains with the Collision Reconstruction Unit.

A cyclist from Burlington is in critical condition following a serious collision in Oakville.
On Tuesday, August 19th, at roughly 11:49 a.m., the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) was notified of a collision between a motor vehicle and a cyclist on Rebecca Street, just east of Third Line in Oakville.
It’s believed the 67-year-old male cyclist was riding westbound on Rebecca when an eastbound hatchback driven by a 57-year-old Oakville woman attempted to turn left to enter the parking lot of the South Oakville Centre – leading to the collision. He has been taken to a trauma centre in critical condition.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation.
