Thanks to recent rainfall, the Fire Danger Rating has been lowered to MODERATE in New Tecumseth, and the fire ban is now officially lifted.
Residents can once again use approved fire permits and outdoor wood-burning appliances.
Everyone is reminded to burn responsibly.
