The Town of Milton and the Town of Halton Hills are partnering on a road project to improve safety and traffic flow at the intersection of 5 Side Road and Esquesing Line.
Their contractor will be installing new traffic lights and making road upgrades, starting this month. Completion is expected in September.
As part of the work, 5 Side Road will be closed between Esquesing Line and Southcott Drive for about four weeks to allow for culvert replacement. In addition, single-lane closures will occur periodically on Esquesing Line throughout the project.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead and follow posted detours.
