The Milton Menace will be kicking off their preseason games on Friday, August 15th.
They’ll be taking on the Aurora Tigers at the Sherwood Community Centre in Milton. Puck drop is at 4:00 p.m.
A second preseason game will also be held this weekend, with the Menace going on the road to face the Tigers at the Aurora Community Centre on Sunday, August 17th.
Ahead of this weekend, the Menace announced their latest transaction.
Returning to the team is defenceman Marcus Tryfon. He’s been around the team since the 2021-2022 regular season, slowly earning playing time with his hometown squad.
In 26 regular season games, Tryfon found the back of the net once and added on 13 assists. He was also able to score a goal in 10 games during the OJHL Playoffs.
With older players graduating from the OJHL this offseason, Tryfon will have a chance to earn a full-time spot on a roster gearing up for the next season.
