The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for an unknown couple following a theft case at a local retail store.
On Thursday, July 24th, at roughly 7:20 p.m., two suspects entered the Sunglass Hut at the Mapleview Shopping Centre on Maple Avenue in Burlington. They picked out $1,880 in property, which the female suspect then concealed in her shirt. They left without making any attempt to pay.
The HRPS describes the pair as:
- Suspect 1 – Male, Middle Eastern, beard, 30-35 years-old, average build, wearing a black t-shirt, denim shorts, and white shoes
- Suspect 2 – Female, Middle Eastern, 30-35 years-old, large build, wearing a black tank top, green pants, and flip flops
