South Simcoe Police are investigating after multiple reports of gun shots on Settlers Crescent in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Around 3 a.m. Wednesday, Witnesses reported seeing a person in a black hoodie, holding what appeared to be a handgun fleeing the scene in a white sedan heading south.
When officers arrived, they found several bullet casings on the sidewalk and boulevard in front of a home. No injuries were reported.
Police say they believe the incident was targeted and that there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
The investigation remains active.
