Milton’s vibrant celebration of culture and diversity returns this weekend as the Milton African and Multicultural Festival (MAMF) marks its fifth year.
This one-day event features live performances, cultural showcases, games, and food from around the world.
Founded by Jean Assamoa of Akwaba Cultural Exchange, the festival celebrates Milton’s growing cultural richness. The day will begin with an official opening ceremony at 11:00 a.m., followed by performances from artists representing Ivory Coast, India, Ecuador, China, Jamaica, and more. Visitors can expect music, dance, arts and crafts, and a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
The event aims to promote solidarity, tourism, and global cultural awareness, while giving Miltonians a chance to share and explore their heritage.
It’s running 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Milton Community Sports Park, located at 805 Santa Maria Boulevard in Milton.
The festival is free and open to all.
Full schedule and location details are available here.
