Milton Public Library's Beaty branch (2021)
A local favourite is back – and it’s on sale!
For the entire month of August, Milton Public Library’s Beaty Honey is available for just $6 per jar, down from its regular price of $10. 🍯
The honey is harvested from bee hives at the Beaty Branch, part of MPL’s Medicine Learning Garden, and produced in collaboration with Humble Bee, an urban beekeeping partner focused on sustainable honey production. The library first installed the beehives in 2020 and began selling the honey the next year as part of its Bee Inspired Week – a celebration of its bee-themed logo and local sustainability efforts.
Residents can pick up their jar at any MPL branch, while supplies last.
Find each branch here:
- Main Library – 1010 Main Street East
- Sherwood Library – 6355 Main Street West
- Beaty Library – 945 Fourth Line
