The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) played a role in the arrest of a violent home invasion suspect.
Back on March 13th, the suspect broke into a residence near Winston Road and Kelson Avenue North in Grimsby. Working together, Niagara’s Forensic Services Unit and the HRPS were eventually able to identify a suspect.
On July 25th, police arrested and charged 18-year-old Sangag Dorjee with several serious offences:
- Disguised with Intent
- Break Enter and commit/ Dwelling House
- Possession of a weapon
- Robbery
- Theft of motor vehicle with violence (x2)
He was held in custody following a bail hearing.
Police are still searching for five outstanding suspects.
