Residents are being invited by Sustainable Milton to take part in a Community Trunk Share event this weekend.
The idea is simple: what no longer serves you may be exactly what someone else needs. All items are free, promoting a zero-waste lifestyle and helping reduce landfill waste.
This event is a community-wide free swap, so you can either bring gently used items to give away or simply come browse.
Space is limited for those looking to give items away, so registration is required. However, browsers do not need to register. Electrical appliances and electronics will not be accepted due to insurance restrictions.
It’s happening on Sunday, July 27th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the John Tonelli Parking Lot, located at 217 Laurier Avenue in Milton.
The event is also a great opportunity for those looking to earn volunteer hours.
