The Milton Menace are bringing back one of their top players.
Last week, the local OJHL team announced the return of their Captain, Graeme MacAuley. Read more about that news here.
Joining MacAuley this fall will be forward Ivan Fabjan. The Mississauga-native was able to score 16 goals and 27 assists in his 51 games played with Milton in the 2024-2025 regular season.
In the playoffs, Fabjan became a monster, adding 12 goals and 8 assists in 20 games. He was a key piece in helping the Menace reach the OJHL Finals for the first time in franchise history.
Joining Fabjan will be a familiar face for Menace fans.
Last fall, the Menace made a blockbuster trade in sending their star forward Gabriel Ciarallo to the Toronto Jr. Canadiens in exchange for power forward Luke Johnston. The move was vital for the Menace as Johnston quickly became the team’s leading scorer, burying 22 goals and 28 assists in just 28 games played, and another 13 goals and 15 assists in his 20 playoff games.
It seems Ciarallo has brushed off the mid-season trade, as he’s signed back with the Menace for the upcoming season. In 23 games with Milton, the star scored 14 goals and 17 assists. His scoring touch was hindered by the struggling Jr. Canadiens, as he was only able to score six more goals in 30 games for Toronto.
The pair will likely help Captain MacAuley in leading a younger Menace team, who have seen several of their key players move on to post-secondary play.
