Nottawasaga OPP is investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision that took place early Sunday morning in Innisfil.
Just after 3 a.m., officers responded to a report of a deceased woman found on the shoulder of Highway 89 near 5th Side Road.
The victim, a 35-year-old woman from Richmond Hill, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle involved has now been located, and police are asking the public for help in identifying the driver.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
