Bandology is bringing the beat back to Halton this summer with another exciting week of Band Camp.
Campers in Grades 7–12 will form a full concert band, practicing throughout the week under the guidance of skilled instructors before performing at an end-of-week concert for family and friends. Younger kids in Grades 1–6 will enjoy the Band Camp Junior program, which features instrument exploration, group games, and musical workshops. No experience is needed!
“Band Camp is a great place for young musicians to be part of a community that celebrates expression and creativity,” says Ryan Mackinnon, Community Programs Manager at Bandology and Camp Director for the week in Halton. “It’s great to see the kids build confidence, discover new friendships and learn just how fun music making can be.”
Registration is now open, and spots are filling fast. Families in need can access subsidies of up to 90% and borrow instruments for free through Bandology’s Instrument Library. For questions, parents can email camp@bandology.ca.
Now in its ninth year, Bandology continues its mission of “more music for more kids,” offering inspiring music education and performance opportunities across Ontario.
It’s running from July 21st – 25th at King’s Christian Collegiate in north Oakville.
