100 Women Who Care Milton is getting ready for their third gathering of 2025.
The group gets together to listen to presentations from three local charities. The group then votes and awards one charity with a donation from each member. Traditionally, the donation is $100 per member, but has been done on a ‘donate-what-you-can’ method since the pandemic.
In April, they chose the Acclaim Health as the awarded charity. $10,900 was given to the organization that support the “physical and mental well-being through independent living, reduced social isolation, innovative dementia care, end of life care and bereavement support.”
On Wednesday, July 16th, they will head to Springridge Farm at 7256 Bell School Line in Milton. Registration will start at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. It’s expected to run for roughly one hour. Acclaim Health will join the meeting to discuss how their award has been used the last few months.
