In the first 6 months of this year, South Simcoe Police have laid 276 charges against drivers for operating vehicles without valid insurance.
Enforcement efforts will continue throughout the year as officers work to ensure safer roads and promote driver responsibility across the community.
Each offence carries a minimum fine of $5,000.
