Sustainable Milton invites residents to a special Eco Movie Night featuring the award-winning documentary From Seed to Seed.
This eye-opening film explores the realities of farming in a changing climate and the hopeful rise of regenerative agriculture, a method that blends modern science with traditional practices.
The 90-minute film follows a group of Manitoba farmers – from large-scale operations to small family farms – each navigating unique challenges while adopting environmentally sustainable farming techniques.
After the screening, attendees will have the chance to connect with the film’s director, Katharina Stieffenhofer, who will join live via Zoom for a Q&A session.
It’s happening on Friday, July 11th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at 7513 Tremaine Road, just northwest of Main Street West.
The event costs $5 per person, payable at the door. Space is limited, so early arrival is recommended.
