The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has confirmed the death of the 24-year-old cyclist involved in a collision on James Snow Parkway in Milton last week.
The collision occurred at roughly 11:20 p.m. on Friday, July 4th. Both the cyclist and a Toyota Rav-4 were travelling southbound on the Milton road when it happened. The 71-year-old driver remained on-scene and cooperated with police.
It remains under investigation by the Collision Reconstruction Unit.
Witnesses, or persons with relevant dashboard camera footage who have not yet spoken to police, are asked to contact investigators at 905-825-4747 ext: 5065 or CRU@haltonpolice.ca.

A cyclist in Milton has been hospitalized following a late-night collision on Friday, July 4th.
At roughly 11:20 p.m., a Toyota RAV4 operated by a 71-year-old Mississauga man was heading southbound on James Snow Parkway towards Main Street East when it struck a cyclist who was also travelling southbound.
The cyclist suffered serious injuries as a result and was taken to a trauma centre. The driver of the Toyota remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
This collision is still under investigation by the Collision Reconstruction Unit.
