The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for an unknown woman following an attempted theft case at a local grocery store.
On Wednesday, June 18th, at roughly 2:30 p.m., the suspect entered the Fortinos located at 2515 Appleby Line in Burlington. The female suspect selected $653.78 in property and left the store, making no attempt to pay. She was confronted by security, at which point she discarded the items and fled into the parking lot.
The HRPS describes the suspect as:
- Female
- Eastern European
- 25-30 years-old
- long dark hair
- chest tattoo
- wearing a grey shirt, grey pants, and a gold necklace
