Halton Region is inviting residents of Oakville and Milton to take part in the next phase of a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study for Regional Road 25, stretching from Speers Road to Derry Road (Regional Road 7).
The study aims to address a range of improvements for this corridor, including road widening, better transit infrastructure, intersection upgrades, active transportation enhancements, and overall traffic flow. As part of the process, Halton Region is assessing the social, cultural, and environmental impacts of proposed upgrades to ensure they reflect community needs and sustainability goals.
Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the second round of Public Information Centre (PIC) consultations, which are being held online until July 17th. This round focuses on reviewing and collecting feedback on the preliminary preferred plan for the corridor.
To participate, click here and complete the online survey or email your comments to RR25MCEA@halton.ca by July 17th.
For more information, to join the mailing list, or to request materials in an alternate format, email RR25MCEA@halton.ca.
