While Canada Day might not be happening at the Milton Fairgrounds this year, there are still ways to celebrate the holiday.
All are invited to kick off Canada Day with a heartfelt tribute to local veterans, live entertainment, and a morning of community celebration at Victoria Park, located at 43 Brown Street in Downtown Milton, on Tuesday, July 1st.
The morning begins with the Milton Knights of Columbus hosting their Veterans Breakfast from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., featuring pancakes and sausage or peameal on a bun – free for veterans and available for purchase to all attendees. Everyone is welcome to attend this special salute.
The celebration continues with a live musical performance by “That Band” at the Gazebo from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., along with the cutting of the Canada Day Cake from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., free for all residents to enjoy.
If that’s not enough Canada Day fun for you, then head over to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #136 at 21 Charles Street for the ‘True North Strong and Fun Canada Day Fun Day’ from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This free-entry event offers games, crafts, face painting, music, and a delicious BBQ. Donations are welcome to support local initiatives.
Celebrate Canada Day all day long in Milton with family-friendly activities, great food, and community spirit!
