The Milton Public Library’s (MPL) Main Branch is bringing books to life this summer with a special TD StoryWalk featuring Let’s go! haw êkwa! by Julie Flett.
It starts on Saturday, June 14th at the MPL’s Summer Launch event. Families can enjoy this unique outdoor reading experience where pages of the book are displayed along a walking path, encouraging children to read and explore at the same time.
The StoryWalk is part of the TD Summer Reading Club at MPL, open to pre-readers (ages 0 – 5) and school-aged children (6 – 12). Using the Beanstack platform or app, participants and their parents or guardians can track reading time, unlock fun digital badges, and earn tickets toward prize draws at the end of the summer.
To join the reading adventure and take part in this year’s TD Summer Reading Club, visit the Main branch, located at 1010 Main Street East in Milton.
It runs until August 23rd.
