This summer, the Milton Public Library (MPL) is once again calling on the community to help support local families by donating to the Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC) Infant Food Bank.
The donation drive begins on Saturday, June 14th at the MPL’s Summer Launch event, and it aims to collect essential baby and hygiene items for families in need.
MCRC’s Infant Food Bank provides monthly supplies of diapers, formula, baby food, and cereal to local families struggling to afford basic necessities. This summer’s drive encourages residents to donate high-need items such as:
- Diapers
- Formula
- Boxes of baby cereal
- Pouches or jars of baby food
- Menstrual supplies
All age groups are welcome to participate, and donations can be dropped off at any Milton Public Library branch during regular hours.
The food drive will end on August 16th.
