He had last been seen at roughly 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8th in the area of Gifford Crescent and Philbrook Drive in Milton. Subsequent security images placed him in the area of Guelph Line and 2 Sideroad, south of Derry Road, early in the morning on Monday, June 9th.
A road closure was issued by the HRPS on Thursday afternoon, closing Guelph Line in both directions between 1 Sideroad and 2 Sideroad in Burlington for a police investigation. It lasted for just over two hours.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
The HRPS say that, out of respect for his family and friends, no further details will be provided.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has obtained a security image of Prajin Andanandhan on his bicycle dated Monday, June 9th, at roughly 1:12 am.
He was observed riding southbound towards Burlington on Guelph Line, south of 2 Sideroad.
Andanandhan had left his home the night of Sunday, June 8th, and all accounts say he is using a dark coloured bicycle.
Speaking with the Media Relations Officer with the HRPS, Constable Jeff Dillon, he says it’s possible Andanandhan may have turned down a trail system while biking.

Local residents can expect an increased presence in the area as police continue their investigation.
