The Town of Milton is updating its Parks and Recreation Master Plan and is asking residents to help shape the community’s recreational future.
This plan will serve as a strategic guide for the years 2026 to 2031, helping to prioritize investments in parks, facilities, and programs that reflect local needs and resources.
“We’re inviting the community to help shape the next five years of parks and recreation in Milton,” says Steve Palmer, Director, Recreation and Culture. “By participating in a survey or attending one of our open houses, residents can help guide future investment and long-term visioning.”
Feedback from residents, user groups, stakeholders, and Town Council will play a key role in shaping the final plan. Community members are encouraged to complete a short survey on Let’s Talk Milton, the Town’s online engagement platform. Additionally, a more detailed telephone survey will be conducted with a randomly selected group of residents in July.
Two open house sessions will also be held:
- June 11th, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Brookville Hall
- June 19th, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Sherwood Community Centre (Multi-Purpose Room 4)
