A Burlington man has been arrested following what the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) calls “an indecent act” in Milton.
On Sunday, March 23rd, at 11:30 p.m., a male suspect attended the Shoppers Drug Mart at 6951 Derry Road and approached a female inquiring about a product in the store. During conversation the suspect showed the victim an image of the product on his cell phone before changing the screen to a digital pornographic image of a male committing an indecent act.
An investigation began once the HRPS were contacted.
As a result, 38-year-old Alvin Wong was arrested and charged with one count of Indecent Act on Friday, May 23rd.
Wong was released on an Undertaking with a future court date in Milton.
Investigators believe Wong may have committed similar acts and believe there may be additional victims.
