Halton Region Paramedic Services is inviting families to a day of fun and learning at Paramedic Day this weekend.
The free event will feature interactive activities like paramedic vehicle tours, patient care demos, and hands-on lessons in CPR, first aid, and bike helmet safety. Kids can enjoy bouncy castles, face painting, crafts, and more – making it a perfect photo-op for families.
It’s a unique opportunity to connect with first responders, learn life-saving skills, and celebrate the important work of local paramedics.
It’s happening on Saturday, May 31st, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Woodlands Operation Centre, located at 1179 Bronte Road in Oakville.
A special speaking program runs from 11:00 to 11:40 a.m., with remarks from Regional Chair Gary Carr, Burlington MP Karina Gould, Oakville MPP Stephen Crawford, Oakville North—Burlington MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos, and Paramedic Chief Greg Sage.
