One person was airlifted to a trauma centre following a collision between a tractor and a freight train south of Alliston on Tuesday afternoon.
As a result of the incident, the train came to a stop and remained stationary across both the 11th and 12th Line in New Tecumseth.
Police closed the affected roads for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
