The Town of Milton is inviting residents to an upcoming open house where they can learn about major planning initiatives that will shape the community’s future.
This informal drop-in event will highlight Milton’s Housing Strategy, a blueprint to address the evolving housing needs of the town. Attendees will have the chance to review the draft vision and proposed actions, and speak directly with Town planning staff.
The open house will also cover other key projects:
- We Make Milton: the Town’s new Official Plan, created with community input
- Agerton Secondary Plan: focused on future growth, including a proposed major transit station near Derry and Trafalgar
- Rural Additional Residential Units (ARUs): a review of policies that would allow more housing options in Milton’s rural areas
Residents are encouraged to stop by, explore accessible display boards, ask questions, and share their thoughts on the future of Milton.
The open house will take place on Tuesday, May 27th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton, located at 1010 Main Street East.
