Nottawasaga OPP has launched its annual Road Safety Week campaign, with officers increasing patrols and enforcement efforts across the region.
The initiative focuses on targeting the “Big Four” driving behaviours: impaired driving, aggressive driving, distracted driving, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Officers will be highly visible in the community, conducting traffic stops and education campaigns.
The OPP is urging all drivers to make safe driving a priority and do their part to help keep local roads safe for everyone heading into the long weekend.
