The Town of New Tecumseth has expressed continued support for Honda, following a delay in one of the automaker’s planned initiatives in Alliston.
Mayor Richard Norcross says Honda has been a valued and trusted partner in the community for over 40 years, contributing significantly to the local economy.
While the Town is disappointed by the delay, residents remain optimistic that the company’s transition to electric vehicle production will help move the project forward in the near future.
The Town also confirmed its readiness to work collaboratively with Honda, along with provincial and federal partners, to support the investment when the time is right.
