South Simcoe Police responded to a fire on the roof of the Innisfil YMCA around 2 p.m. Monday.
Thanks to the quick actions of staff and crews, the building was safely evacuated and the fire was extinguished.
Police confirmed there were no injuries and no safety concerns, the facility has been temporarily closed to the public for the time being.
