The Town of New Tecumseth shared the following post on social media, in response to the possible Canada Post Strike on May 22nd.
“The pending Canada Post strike could affect the delivery of paper bills, including water utility bills, property tax bills, and invoices. During the postal service disruption, bills will continue to be issued, and payment due dates will remain unchanged. If you receive your bills by mail, we encourage you to sign up for paperless billing. Do not mail your payment if a strike is expected or occurring. Other payment options include paying through your financial institution, in-person at Town Hall, drop boxes, and more. Stay informed and ensure your payments are on time.”
