Construction sign with worker
The Town of Milton is rolling out its 2025 Expanded Asphalt Program.
It’s a cost-effective initiative to rehabilitate local roads and enhance road safety and infrastructure. This year’s work includes road reconstruction, driveway transitions, and culvert cleanouts, repairs, and replacements along three major routes:
- Kelso Road from Regional Road 22 to the park entrance
- No. 15 Side Road from Regional Road 1 (Guelph Line) to Fourth Line, Nassagaweya
- Sixth Line from 1.8 km north of Lower Base Line to Regional Road 6 (Britannia Road)
Construction will begin mid-May and continue through the fall, weather permitting. Single-lane closures will be in effect daily to speed up work, and traffic delays are expected. Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained, and local residents will be notified directly if a staged closure impacts them.
