The Milton Community Fund is officially open for 2026 applications, marking 25 years of supporting local not-for-profit organizations that enrich the town’s artistic, cultural, and recreational life.
Until Monday, July 28th, eligible groups can apply for a share of roughly $425,000 in funding to support programs, events, and services scheduled for 2026.
“The Milton Community Fund plays a vital role in supporting organizations that unite and uplift our community,” says Steve Palmer, Director, Recreation & Culture, Town of Milton. “We are proud to provide resources that help build connections, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to making Milton a true place of possibility for everyone.”
Since its creation by Milton Council in 1999, the Fund has distributed over $8.1 million to local organizations. In 2024, $433,168 supported 44 community groups. The Fund is made possible through proceeds from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) via Milton’s role as host of Elements Casino Mohawk.
For application details and submission forms, click here or call 905-878-7252 ext. 2539. Organizations unable to accept OLG funding are encouraged to contact Town staff for alternative options.
