McHappy Day in Milton, 2022
McHappy Day is back this week for another year!
On Thursday, May 8th, Milton residents can do more than satisfy a craving at McDonald’s – they can help make a life-changing impact for families in need.
Here in Milton, three local McDonald’s restaurants (Santa Maria, Martin Street, and James Snow) will host celebrations in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and the Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF). A portion of all food and beverage sales from the day will go directly toward supporting sick and injured children and their families.
“McHappy Day is more than fundraising. It’s a celebration of community and an opportunity to support our neighbours,” said Marcia Finlayson, McDonald’s Canada Franchisee, Markham, Stouffville and Richmond Hill. “Every order, whether it’s a tasty Big Mac or a cup of McCafé Premium Roast Coffee, helps make an impact for families right here in our own community.”
With local proceeds benefitting the MDHF, families in our community will continue to receive vital support during difficult times. Nationally, RMHC Canada has already raised over $100 million through past McHappy Days – helping nearly half a million families. Even with the past fundraising, demand for these programs continues to grow.
So, whether you’re dining in, driving through or ordering in, join your fellow Miltonians on Thursday to eat, give, and support families when they need it most.
