A retired Milton man has some extra money to play with after winning the lottery!
Steven Brownridge matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the Wednesday, February 5th LOTTO 6/49 draw to win $100,000!
He’s been playing the lottery with OLG for nearly 40 years. While Steven has enjoyed some minor wins over the years, nothing could have prepared him for the excitement his first big win.
“I was enjoying an early morning coffee when I decided to check my tickets using the OLG app on my phone,” said Steven, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall. “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing at first and must have checked my ticket three more times to be sure. I was stunned!”
With his winnings, Steven looks forward to planning a vacation and may purchase a new vehicle.
The winning ticket was purchased at Food Basics on Guelph Street in Georgetown.
