The Milton Menace pulled off the holiday day game win!
On Monday, February 17th, the Menace welcomed in the King Rebellion for an afternoon game. Ivan Fabjan kicked off the scoring for the Menace, netting his 14th goal of the season with help from Luke Johnston and Ashtyn Pacheco. King would get one back at the halfway mark in the first, but right before the end of the period, Nathan Catalano would take the lead right back for Milton. His 11th of the year was assisted by Owen Kindree and Tristan Tremble. The Menace led 2-1 after 20 minutes of action.
In the second period, Spencer Vandenberg would add some space between Milton and King on the scoreboard. His 10th of the year was assisted by Fabjan and Johnston. Milton was up 3-1 after two periods of play.
The Rebellion would pull within one in the third, but late in the game, leading scorer Madden MacDougall would seal the deal. His 25th of the year was assisted by Johnston and 16-year-old Ryder Cali. Milton beat King 4-2.
Carter Bickle was in net for Milton against his former team. He stopped 28 of 30 shots for the .933% save percentage and the win.
Next up for the Menace is a home game against the Niagara Falls Canucks. Puck drop at the Milton Memorial Arena will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 21st. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
