A Burlington woman is the latest local lottery winner.
Deborah Gosse matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the Saturday, January 25th LOTTARIO draw to win $100,000.
The retiree has been a long-time lottery player with OLG. She is now thrilled to share the news of her first big win!
“I was at home when I used the OLG app to check my ticket,” Gosse recalled while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “When I saw what I’d won, all I could say was, ‘OMG!’ I called my husband over and asked him to take a look. There were so many zeros!”
She adds that her husband might have been more excited than she was. The plan right now is to take some time before she decides what to do with her winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Headon Road in Burlington.
