The Tec-We-Gwill Women’s Institute is celebrating a significant victory in their ongoing efforts to improve road safety in the community.
After months of advocacy, the group announced that a new left-turn sign has been installed at the intersection of the southbound 20th Sideroad and Highway 89.
The safety measure was made possible through the tireless work of the Women’s Institute, with a special nod to Advocacy Chair Donna Jebb.
For over 127 years, Women’s Institute (WI) Members have actively worked together for family, home, community and country.
