Local kids can get a free tree!
Starting on Monday, February 10th, kids can sign up for a free tree that will be planted during Earth Week (April 16th – April 22nd). This is being done through a partnership between the Milton Public Library and Neighbourhood Forest. The MPL shares how to register:
“Enter your child’s name and age/grade level. Select Next and Continue. Fill out the Parent / Guardian contact inforomation. Parent/Guardian first and last name, email address, and home address are required. Check the box to agree to plant and care for the tree, and select Submit.”
The deadline to register is Saturday, March 15th.
