Just over a minute later, Aiden Landers buried his 10th of the season, with help from Holmes and Payton Palbiski. They weren’t done there, as Mark Coish would make it a three goal game. His 5th was assisted by Holmes and Tristen Pitt. It was 3-0 Alliston after 20 minutes of action.
In the second period, Grube would net his second of the game and his 18th on the year, with assists from Holmes and Noah Cochrane. Innisfil would get one back before the end of the frame, making it 4-1 Alliston after two periods of play.
The Spartans would then make it close in the third, scoring a pair of goals. The Hornets would hold off the attack and pick up the 4-3 win.
