Police are investigating a serious incident involving gunfire in Cookstown.
South Simcoe Police were called to a residence on Mumberson Street around 4:25 this morning (nov5).
Investigators say multiple shots were fired at a home.
There were no injuries but police are encouraging residents to remain vigilant as the motive behind the shooting is unknown.
Reports indicate that a small dark SUV may have been involved.
Police ask anyone with information or possible surveillance footage to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
