Investigators from the York Regional Police Homicide Unit are seeking information in regards to a suspect vehicle observed fleeing the area following a fatal shooting in the City of Markham.
On Saturday, October 19th, just after 6:30 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the area of 14th Avenue and McCowan Road. When officers arrived on scene, they located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds in the driveway of his residence. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators have now identified a vehicle of interest, a white 2002 to 2009 GMC Envoy sport utility vehicle, and would like to speak to anyone who may have information regarding this vehicle to contact them.
Investigators are also looking for at least one suspect, wearing dark clothing, who was seen in the area at the time.
