It seems the ‘Road to Success’ has led the Town of Halton Hills to an award!
They announced this week that their new Community Profile, ‘Halton Hills: On the Road to Success‘, has won the Economic Development Association of Canada (EDAC) Marketing Award for 2024 in the category of ‘Single Publication – 5 or more pages’.
“I applaud staff for crafting this document. It includes enticing and relevant information and is strengthened with quotations from individuals conducting business in Halton Hills,” says Mayor Ann Lawlor. “We have an ‘open-for-business’ approach, and this document clearly captures that corporate style.” Completed earlier this year, Halton Hills: On the Road to Success, spans 20 pages and showcases the Town’s distinctive appeal as a premier investment destination. It serves to further strengthen Invest Halton Hills’ marketing messages by providing detailed information on the Town’s quality of life offerings, business success stories and investment opportunities.”
Primary audiences for the Community Profile include non-residential developers and realtors, international companies and investors, government stakeholders, local business organizations and media. The Community Profile directly aligns with the ‘On the Road to Everywhere‘ video series which was also completed this year. The five-video series demonstrate Halton Hills’ value proposition as a premier investment destination.
“Our goal was to inspire businesses to relocate or expand to Halton Hills, raise awareness of business success stories within the Town, demonstrate that Halton Hills is a great place to do business, and highlight the variety of services and programming we offer,” explains Damian Szybalski, Commissioner of Community Services. “We are pleased to receive this recognition from EDAC, which is a testament to our delivering a message that is clear, consistent and authentic – and doing so in a visually-appealing and easily-digestible way.”
The EDAC Marketing Canada Awards acknowledge communities across Canada who have succeeded in their economic development marketing efforts, and focused on up-and-coming best practices related to creativity, effectiveness and excellence.
