The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says one person is dead following a collision in Burlington this week.
On Tuesday, October 15th, at roughly 3:08 p.m., officers responded to a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Dundas Street and Walkers Line in Burlington. A red Jeep Wrangler was travelling eastbound on Dundas Street when it collided with a grey Ford Focus that was westbound and turning left from Dundas Street onto Walkers Line. The passenger of the Ford Focus, a 94-year-old Burlington resident was transported to an out of region trauma centre and later died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has assumed carriage of the investigation. Any witnesses who have not spoken to police are requested to contact investigators at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
