A construction worker sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on the eastbound lanes of Highway 403 in Burlington.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says the incident occurred at around 4:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11th while the worker was on a scissor truck. A vehicle entered the construction zone and struck the worker, while the driver sustained minor injuries.
Eastbound Highway 403 is closed at Waterdown Road for the ongoing investigation.
OPP has not provided an estimated time for the reopening, which could take several hours.
