The Milton Menace are leaving Niagara Falls with two more wins under their belts.
After a 5-2 win over the Aurora Tigers on Monday, September 23rd, the Menace faced off against the Trenton Golden Hawks on Tuesday.
It was Kyle Burton who started off the scoring, assisted by Tristan Tremble and Owen Kindree. His 3rd goal of the season gave the Menace a 1-0 lead after 20-minutes of play.
In the second period, Captain Graeme MacAuley potted his 2nd goal of the year, assisted by Madden MacDougall and Luke Hampel on the powerplay. Three minutes later, Nathan Catalano scored his 2nd of the year, assisted by Gabriel Ciarallo and Ivan Fabjan. Before the end of the period, ‘Silly’ Alexandr Siletskiy buried the dagger. His 2nd of the year was assisted by Tremble and Markus Hicks. It was 4-0 after two frames.
Milton once again found the back of the net in the third period. Ciarallo continued his hot start to the season, scoring his 7th goal of the year, assisted by MacAuley and 16-year-old Ryder Cali. The Golden Hawks would break up the shutout bid with 22 seconds left, but that was it. Milton beat Trenton 5-1.
In net for Milton was Austin McKillop. He stopped 24 of 25 shots, giving him an even .960% save percentage.
They’re back home on Friday, September 27th against the King Rebellion. Puck drop at the Milton Memorial Arena will be at 7:30 p.m.
